Don't let me lose my wonder

And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight... Colossians 1:21-22

For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. 2 Corinthians 5:21

If I can read these words and not be overwhelmed by a sense of thanksgiving and praise, then something is terribly wrong inside my soul.

God, don't let me ever lose my wonder.

As I have witnessed other Christians, whom at one time I considered "godly"....
fall away from Truth,
and appear to be blinded....

I desire to continue to seek Truth, so that when I am being tempted with a lie, I will KNOW Truth, and I also pray that I will never lose my wonder......

Randy Alcorn just posted this:

"The more we fill our minds with purity and the less with impurity, the greater our purity and resistance to temptation. “We take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ” (2 Corinthians 10:5). When the wrong thoughts come, we correct them, replacing them with God’s truth."
