Property of....

I just couldn't resist after hearing the sermon today.

"Him who overcomes I will make a pillar in the temple of my God. Never again will he leave it. I will write on him the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God; and I will also write on him my new name." Revelation 3:12

There is absolutely no greater honor, no greater joy, than to have His name written on me.

Danny appologized for the bad analogy, but when i heard it, my heart was completely broken! i pictured Jesus' name on my foot like your picture! I was sitting there in service and thought "I think I could go for a tatoo on my foot w/ Jesus' name." Then i quickly realized that it might be too much self inflicted pain when His name is already written on my heart. (I'd still go for the tatoo if i weren't so sensitive there!)

Great blog Kati, what an incredible visual :)

I was curious as to whose foot you chose to ink?

It is the mark of a humble pastor, I think, when he apologizes for a "bad analogy", yet God uses it to touch us. I wanted to cry at the visual of God's name written on my foot like Andy's was written on Woody. Because, just like Woody, we sometimes doubt that our "owner" really loves us. We must remind ourselves continually that God's name IS written on our hearts--PERMANENTLY. Maybe a tattoo wouldn't be a bad idea? :)

OH, and it was MY foot. I let Isaac take the picture and told him not to tell Erin or Gabe that I wrote on myself with permanent marker.
