The kids and I spent the afternoon decorating the tree.
You guessed it; then I spent some time re-decorating the tree.
A little while later I noticed an obnoxious white paper laying in amongst the branches. I reached out to remove it. Upon reading it, however, I decided it needs to stay on the tree this year.
Storybook parenting here, folks. I am one proud mama.

wow, kati! that is awesome! someone hit the nail on the head. :)
definitely needs to stay on the tree!
and perhaps you ought to find out if a Sunday school teacher encouraged that note (to thank her). just a thought. perhaps you already know its origins. either way, it's very cool.
Love it! That is a keeper for many Christmases to come!
Kati~ sooo cool! Just a suggestion: Take that picture and develope it, then put it into a 4x6 or 5x7 frame and put it out every christmas! that is just such a cool picture!!!!
Oh for the faith of a child! Awesome - one proud mama for sure!!
katie, shuaun just informed me that "develope" is spelled wrong...and i spelled his name wrong on purpose, because he's standing over me right now critiquing me. You know, he acts like a college student or something... HA!
Jessi, I would never say this to anyone else, but, um......you spelled my name wrong too. :)
And by the way, I liked your suggestion of framing the picture. I was trying to think of a way to preserve the paper, but framing a picture sounds much easier! Thanks.
